BMW re-introduces X5 costing Rs 52.99 – Rs. 69.5 lakhs

BMW has re-introduced its SUV, X5 in India. The new X5 is an enhanced variant of the actual model introduced in 2006.

The X5 will be available in 2 flavors: petrol and diesel.

The petrol flavor (X5 xdrive50i) has a power of 407 BHP and 600 NM torque at 1750-4500 RPM. It costs Rs 69.5 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).

The diesel model (X5 xdrive30D) has a power of 245 BHP and 540 NM torque at 1750-3000 RPM. It costs Rs 52.99 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).

The new X5 has brake energy regeneration, in which the driver stops speeding, and the emitted kinetic energy is converted into electrical energy.
