A recent press report said that public sector lender Corporation Bank has rewarded six of its branch managers with the Chairman’s club membership for their commendable performance at work. This award has been given for the excellence in operations.
The bank has also awarded 64 branch managers the ‘Super Ordinate Goal’, which was for their performance in business development in the fiscal last ended. The Corporate Award Ceremony-2011 was held at Goa where the Union Minister of State for Finance, Shri. Namo Narain Meena gave away the awards to the deserving employees.
Mr. Ramnath Pradeep, Chairman and Managing Director of the bank said that the achievers have bagged these awards due to their excellence and that this will also inspire others to excel in performance to achieve.
According to a bank release, the Chairman’s club award is given out to branch managers for excellence in multi goal parameters.
The bank is otherwise renowned for its variety of products including Car loan, Personal Loan, education loans etc. According to press reports the bank expects to take its ATM network to 3,250 by the end of the current financial year and as an attempt to achieve it, 2000 ATMs are to be added this year.
