The Government is all set to launch the Income Tax Business Application-Permanent Account Number (ITBA-PAN), expected to be brought into effect by October end.
With this, the Income Tax Department will be able to have a 360-degree view of all tax assessees. The system also promises to curb black money proliferation through duplicate or fake PANs which will now bubble up on the taxman’s radar.
So, PAN up and go digital with the ITBA-PAN!
