Car loan lender Federal Bank connects ATMs to NFS

Car loan lender, Federal Bank has connected its ATM network to National Financial Switch (NFS). NFS is looked after by National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI).

NFS is presently the biggest network of joint ATMs in India. It links about 61,200 ATMs across 44 banks all across India.

With this association, the clients of Federal Bank can access all these ATMs throughout India. Also all card holders of the 44 member banks can use the 759 ATMs of Federal Bank.

The overall network is thus anticipated to handle a daily transaction load of 3 million about average.

Besides, being a part of this network, the bank can also make proper and better use of its ATM network and offer higher customer services all throughout India.

The bank has already links to the Visa and MasterCard networks, which help its debit card holders get access to over 1.5 million ATMs all throughout the world.
