The Great BB Celebration 2017 was a fun evening conducted for all employees of BankBazaar across different locations. Here’s a sneak peek.
The year 2017 has been phenomenal for BankBazaar. We have not only been recognised as the fastest growing fintech company in the country, but have also been able to achieve a lot more than we aimed for. And to celebrate this success, we at BankBazaar organised a big bash for all our employees on October 27th, 2017.
The Bangalore leg of the celebration was conducted at WelcomHotel. Employees dressed in the pre-decided theme colours of black, white and gold showed up at the venue by 5 PM.
The program kick-started with the emcee welcoming the crowd and playing a few spot games to get the tempo up. Mr. Parag Mathur, General Counsel & Head of Compliance at BB Bangalore and Mr. Murari Shridharan, Chief Technology Officer addressed the crowd and thanked all the employees for their continuous hard work. They also acknowledged the contribution of the Legal Team who worked round the clock to close the $30 million funding deal by Experian that happened earlier this month.

A stand-up comedy show was then presented by Praveen Kumar, a noted comedian. He ensured that the crowd was in splits and tickled their funny bone. Acoustica, which is the in-house band of BankBazaar Bangalore, then gave an outstanding performance leaving the crowd totally stoked and craving for more.
After that, the BB Oscar-winning movie “Kagaz” was screened. The winners were presented with the prestigious award by the management.
Samvitti, an award ceremony to honour the commitment and hard work of employees who complete major milestones with BankBazaar was also conducted during the course of the celebration. This year, 43 employees received the award across all locations.
The evening ended with some fun games conducted by the emcee of the event, followed by a splendid dinner.
