MAPE Advisory Group has appointed Mr. Sunil Mehra as the Managing Director of investment banking. Prior to this Mr. Mehra was the Managing Director in the Corporate Finance group of Standard Chartered and with DSP Merrill Lynch as a director during 2000-2006. He is also the former Vice-President of ABN AMRO for five years and worked with Kotak I-Bank as manager for three years.
Reports said that Mr. Mehra has about 20 years of work experience in the investment banking sector. He was also involved in key transactions including Tata Chemicals’ acquisition of General Chemicals, Cimpor’s acquisition of Digvijay cement, Mylan Labs’ acquisition of Matrix Labs, said a statement from the company.
MAPE is a mid market investment bank focused exclusively on Mergers, Acquisitions, Capital Raising and financial & strategic advisory services to public and private companies. It was set up in December 2001; MAPE has closed deals in industries as diverse as Pharmaceuticals, Technology, Financial Services and Engineering.
