Personal loan lender SBI not to participate in today’s strike

Officials of the leading personal loan lender in the country, State Bank of India have chosen not to participate in the all India strike to be held on September 7.

 

Numerous public sector bank employees have decided to participate in the strike call given by All India Bank Employees’ Association (AIBEA) for many reasons such as giving banking license to new foreign banks.

 

The strike call has received outside fraternal encouragement by All India Bank Officers’ Confederation, according to G D Nadaf, General Secretary, All India State Bank Officers’ Federation and All India Bank Officers’ Confederation.

 

Indian Bank has told the stock exchanges that the strike would be held on September 7, to the strike call given by National Trade Convention.
