Birlas to alter central Mumbai landscape

By | August 25, 2010

Birlas are ready to alter Mumbai’s city landscape in a step to add to the already increasing collection of residential and commercial properties in central Mumbai. The BK Birla Group company Century Textiles has recruited the Shapoorji Pallonji group to construct a 20-acre property where a textile mill is situated in Worli in Central Mumbai.

The company run by Pallonji Mistry has also begun soil testing to construct residential towers in a 10-acre property at Prabhadevi overlooking the Mahindra group’s extensive company headquarters. The group is also mid way through one another realty project, a 25-storey commercial tower at the back of Century Bhawan in Worli, to be named Century International.
