Cauvery Kalpatharu Grameena Bank – Kisan Chakra

Cauvery Kalpatharu Grameena Bank is one of the Regional Rural Banks established under Regional Rural Banks Act, 1976. Cauvery Kalpatharu Grameena (CKG) Bank was established on 24th May 2006 by amalgamation of Cauvery Grameena Bank and Kalpatharu Grameena Bank. It is sponsored by State Bank of Mysore.

 

Purpose                      – Purchase of Vehicle both New and Second Hand, two wheelers and four wheelers for supervision, transportation of agricultural inputs, produce and management of agricultural activities

 

Eligibility                    – Progressive Farmers or agriculturists, applicant should possess valid driving license for two and three wheelers, applicant can also engage drivers possessing valid permit for four wheelers

 

Quantum of loan        – The amount of loan offered is 75% including the sum total of the cost of vehicle, Fittings, Insurance and the registration Fee; Margin can be reduced to 10% in case of MOU with reputed companies

 

Repayment                 – 3 to 5 years unlike other car loan

 

Mode of Repayment   – Repayable in monthly, quarterly, half yearly or Yearly installments

 

Others                         – Used vehicles to be purchased should not be more than 3 years old from the date of registration and should be free from hypothecation clause or encumbrance
