Realty major DLF has sold out 1,200 autonomous floors worth Rs 500 crore in the initial stage of its integrated township at Panchkula (Haryana) within a week of commencing the project.
DLF has sold over 1,200 autonomous floors, covering 2 million sq ft of built up area from the commencing of the project on February 18 in ‘DLF Panchkula Valley’, which according to the company is its “biggest township project outside Gurgaon.
Housing demand, especially in low-cost segment, is showing symptoms of improvement since April last year. DLF had got good response for the initial 2 stages of its housing project in the national capital, launched last year.
In a statement, DLF said that as compared to the 500 apartments of different sizes with autonomous floors, announced during the initial stage of the project, over 1,200 bookings have been received within a week from the project commencement.
The value of these floors is around Rs. 500 crore, according to the company official. He further added that the price range of these floors is Rs. 30-60 lakhs based on the size of the units.
DLF Home Developers Executive Director (North) Rahul Mehta said, “The prices are very attractive specially coming from DLF which is well known for high quality development and excellent landscaping and institutional facilities provided along with the township”. Moreover with banks offering attractive home loans, people are looking to buy new homes.
