IDBI Bank has won Wins Dun & Bradstreet Banking Awards 2011

A recent press report said that IDBI Bank has won Wins Dun & Bradstreet Banking Awards 2011 for two categories namely overall Best Bank in India and the Best Public Sector Bank in India. Dun and Bradstreet (D&B), the world’s leading provider of global business information, knowledge and insight, announced and presented the ‘Dun & Bradstreet – Polaris Software Banking Awards 2011’ in Mumbai.

According to reports Shri R.M. Malla, CMD, IDBI Bank received the award and said that the landmark event has been made possible due to the passionate hard work, dedication and service to the customers, by the entire team of 14000 professional employees of the bank.

Reports also said that the ‘Dun & Bradstreet – Polaris Software Banking Awards 2011’ seek to recognize the growth and resilience of the Indian banking industry. The universe of the banks considered for the award are the top 62 commercial banks in the country (26 Public Sector banks, 20 Private Sector banks and 16 Foreign banks) with total income of Rs. 1,000 million and above.

IDBI bank offers personalized banking and financial solutions to its clients in the retail (home loan, personal loan, vehicle loan, education loan etc.) and corporate banking arena through its large network of Branches and ATMs, spread across length and breadth of India.
