Union Bank of India had sponsored four RRBs in India out of which three were in U.P namely, Kashi Gramin Bank, Gomti Gramin Bank and Samyut Kshetriya Gramin Bank. Samyut Khetriya Gramin Bank established on 6th Jan 1976, with its Head Office at AZAMGARH. It covered 4 districts namely zamgarh, Mau, Gazipur and Ambedker Nagar with its 168 branches.
Gomti Gramin Bank was established on 30th March 1981 with its Head Office at Jaunpur. It had 84 branches covering 6 tehsils and 21 blocks. Kashi Gramin Bank was established on 28th July 1981 with its Head Office at Varanasi with a view to cater the need of rural and downtrodden people of Kashi, the oldest city of the world. The bank offers loans such as home loan, personal loan, educational loan, agricultural loan etc.
Purpose – To provide loan for working capital or fixed asset to Retail Traders, Small Scale Industries, Artisans, Rural Industries etc
Eligibility – Applicant must present borrower of the bank, applicant must have good credit worthiness, business must be running in profit, must have valid registration & license.
Loan Amount – Maximum Rs.200.00 lack
Type of Facility – Cash Credit or Term loan
Period of Loan – Cash Credit Limit to be renewed in 3 Years; 3 to 5 years in case of term loan
