Jet Airways has announced a tie up with SBI Card in which customers can book airline tickets via their portal using the credit card alternative.

SBI Card is a joint venture between State Bank of India, the country’s biggest lender and GE Capital.

According to the offer, SBI credit card holders can choose an alternative that will help them in changing their ticket purchases carried out via the company’s portal into a 0% EMI with duration of 6 months.

As per Jet Airways Chief Commercial Officer, Sudheer Raghavan, this association is one more addition in the travel type of cards which promotes low-cost and cost effective air travel for families.

Raghavan said, “This scheme will help a family to undertake visits to tourist spots and encourage domestic tourism”.

Abhay Kumar Singh, SBI Cards & Payment Services Pvt Ltd’s CEO, said “We are delighted to partner with Jet Airways and offer SBI Cardholders an affordable travel option. This offering is in line with our focus on the travel segment as it enables air travelers a unique opportunity to fly now and pay later without any additional costs”.
