Omaxe gets Rs 203 crore project in Indore

Real estate firm Omaxe Ltd said its associate has won a contract of Rs 202.72 crore from the Defence Ministry to construct a housing project in Indore.

Omaxe Infrastructure & Construction Ltd (OICL), a fully- owned associate of Omaxe, has been given the contract by DGMAP, Ministry of Defence to build a residential complex at Indore, the company’s statement said.

It added, “The project is pegged at Rs 202.72 crore,” it said, while also elaborating that work order comprises of the building of residential quarters for defence Junior commissioned officers (JCO’s) and other ranks (OR’s).

OICL would build a sum of 1,044 residential units for JCO’s and ORs. The project would get over in 25 months.

After getting this project, OICL’s order book is worth around Rs 1,181 crore.

At the start of this month, OICL had won a contract of Rs 128 crore from the Defence Ministry to build a housing complex in Jammu & Kashmir.
