Oriental Bank has opened its first e-lobby

A recent press report said that Oriental Bank of Commerce on has launched its first e-lobby, providing another outlet for 24×7 banking services to its customers.

Reports said that the e-lobby, which would be unmanned and located at Nehru Place, was inaugurated by Mr. Nagesh Pydah, Chairman and Managing Director, OBC, in the presence of Mr. S.C. Sinha and Mr. V. Kannan, Executive Directors of the bank.

According to reports, the customers can, on a self-service basis, access all ATM services including cash withdrawal, balance inquiry, mini statement, pin change, funds transfer, income tax payment and cheque status inquiry at the e-lobby.

Also, cheques and drafts can be deposited through the cheque deposit machine and an acknowledgement for deposit and copy of cheque will be available to the customer.

Oriental Bank of Commerce is an India-based bank in Lahore (then a city of British India, and currently in Pakistan), is one of the public sector banks in India. The Company operates in four segments: treasury operations, corporate/wholesale banking, retail banking and other banking business operations. The loan portfolio of the bank consists of home loans, personal loans, car loans, education loan, gold loan etc.
