SBBJ has planned to double business figures in coming 3 years

According to a recent press report, public sector lender, State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur has planned to     increase the size of its business. It has aimed at doubling the size of its business in the upcoming three years tenor. The total business of the bank currently is Rs. 1 lakh crore and plans to take it to Rs 2 lakh crore in coming periods of the next two years.

According to Mr. Shiva Kumar, MD of the bank, the bank has decided to concentrate its prime eye on retail banking segment as well as on offering new and innovative services to customer base. The bank has also planned to focus on the high value credit as well as foreign exchange business.

He said that the bank has planned to enrich its retail portfolio -especially car loan and home loan by disbursing loans for high-end cars and premium apartments. For this the bank has planned to join hands with 200 car dealers and top 100 builders and developers across the country. The bank has also started focusing on exporters and SMEs to enhance our forex business.
