A recent press report said that State Bank of India has planned to offer pure gold coins as part of its festival offer. The state run bank said that it would offer pure gold of 999.9 fineness. These gold coins would be issued in the following denominations of 2 gm, 4 gm, 5 gm, 8 gm, 10 gm, 20 gm and 50 gm. The gold coins issued in this regard are pure and Assay certified and are packed in tamper – proof packaging. The customers could avail these gold coins with price that would be based on the day to day gold prices. These gold coins are such that they would be ideal for investment, individual and gifting. This offer would be available at more than 1300 branches of the state run bank.
