According to a recent press report Bank of India has planned to offer rewards points to its customers who purchase through their Debit Card.
Bank of India is known for its relationship beyond banking. The bank which has understood the temper of its customers, who are usually fond of purchase during this festival season, has offers reward points in order to encourage their purchase. Reports said that the rewards points will be based on the amount of money spent by the customer. For example if the purchase is made for Rs 100, the bank will offer reward points like one to two.
Reports said that the bank wants its customers to make use of this offer and purchase more for this festival season. It also said that Debit cards save the time of the customers and are one of the easy modes to spend and the customers become more excited through this offer, to earn more reward points they purchase more.

Another report said that the bank was planning to adopt either rights issue or a qualified institutional placement (QIP) to raise its capital. The individual services of the bank include bank deposits, international banking, education loans, home loan, personal loan etc.
