A recent press report said that Corporation Bank is in the process of according special and exclusive services for senior citizens.
Mr. Narendra Singh, Executive Director of the Bank said that the bank has planned to roll out certain special services for senior citizens shortly. He said that the Top of Form
Bank has registered Rs.2.03 Lakh crore businesses in 2010 and is targeting Rs.2.65 lakh crore businesses this year. IT has recorded a growth target of 25 percent in credit and 33 percent in deposit portfolio.
He also said that the bank has 1362 branches and is planning to add 200 branches every year over the next few years. The bank also has 1200 ATMs and proposes to add 2000ATMs within this fiscal. The loan portfolio of the bank includes home loan, personal loan, vehicle loan, education loan, business loan, etc
Mr. Narendra Singh said the Bank has representative offices in Dubai and Hong Kong and is now looking at developed countries like Sri Lanka, Zambia and a few more South African countries to launch its offices. He also said that the bank has planned to undertake a systematic survey in these countries and seek the required approval from RBI and others.
