Greater Bombay Co-operative Bank Limited – Dhanvantari Scheme for Medical Practitioners (Medical Loan)

The Greater Bombay Co-operative Bank Ltd, more popularly known as Greater Bank, was established over five decades ago on 10th December 1952. The bank was established with a single motto of serving the society in large. In 1996, the bank achieved the “Scheduled Bank “status. The Bank has been functioning very well in the recent years and has successfully crossed a deposit mark of more than Rs.1200 crores and a business mix of more than Rs. 2000 crores.

 

Purpose: The loan scheme is finances setting up new dispensary / hospital or for acquiring equipments, apparatus, furniture & fixtures for an existing / proposed establishment or for repair and renovation of existing establishment / purchase of vehicles for profession.

 

Eligibility: Qualified individual Medical practitioner(s) including Dentist / Radiologist from reputed Universities and registered with Indian / Maharashtra Medical Council / Dental Council of India can avail this personal loan.

 

Rate of Interest: The rate of interest is 14.50% per annum.

 

Margin: There will be a margin of 25%.

 

Repayment: The maximum period for repayment is 84 months (including maximum 12 months moratorium period)

 

Security & Guarantee: Hypothecation of medical equipments, apparatus, furniture & fixtures, vehicles etc. and mortgage of immovable property acquired out of the loan stays as the security for the loan.
