HDFC introduces special personal loans for government, defense personnel

Private sector bank, HDFC Bank has elected to offer special personal loans to 3 customer groups viz. government employees, defense employees and teachers.

In a press release, the bank stated that these personal loans offered to these groups would be 3-4% below the current loan rates, which are 14.5%.

Moreover, a rebate in processing fees of 0.50% would be offered to the bank’s salary account holders. The bank’s standard processing fees are 2.50%.

In case of gold loans, a 2% rebate has been given by the bank.

But the offer is applicable till September 30.

    Actually I had applied pl many time
    But bank official said that they can’t provide Pl to defence personnal

      Hi karan,

      Has the bank given you a valid reason for the rejection? Please check with them. Your Personal Loan could be rejected due to a number of reasons. Do read this blog for more information.

        Sir i have not said that hdfc reject my p/ loan .
        I was gone to bank for pl but due to ur policy of not giving loan to defence personnel
        Thats why i applied for Lap at jalgaon branch,
        I was really wanted money at that time,
        I fullfill all the doccument and gave them 2 checks also,
        But after 2 week they sanction less amount which was not as per initial commitment.
