The India FinTech Awards (IFTA) recognises innovation among fintech companies. At the event, fintech companies were given a chance to showcase their products with an engaging sales pitch to draw audiences and investors.
IFTA is the biggest demo day event in the fintech industry and aims to transform the financial services sector. The India FinTech Awards encourage innovation in financial services on a global scale and is not restricted to corporate players in Indian markets alone.
The IFTA awards is presented by The India FinTech Forum. The India FinTech Forum strives to facilitate the collaboration of fintech companies and gives them a platform to share opinions on prevailing policies in the industry. The forum aims to make India a leader in global fintech innovation. The forum has about 40 member fintech companies.
The India FinTech Awards recently announced a shortlist of companies that will present product demos at their event on 26th November 2016.
BankBazaar was among the shortlisted fintech start-ups that got an opportunity to show a live demo of latest product offerings at the IFTA event.
The India FinTech Awards were held at Mumbai on 26th November 2016 and Navaneetha Krishnan, Head – Process Transformation, BankBazaar was among the presenters from the shortlisted corporate players.
BankBazaar is committed to offering paperless transactions with a mobile-first approach to banking and finance and had presented its paperless finance product at the India FinTech Awards program.

BankBazaar won the award for Leader in Corporate Innovation at the IFTA event. This is a validation of the company’s dedicated vision and innovative stand in the dynamic fintech industry.

The judges’ panel included BFSI veterans (Sundeep Sikka, CEO Reliance Nippon Life / Deepak Sharma, Chief Digital Officer, Kotak) and entrepreneurs from the Venture Capitalist community.
