Karnataka Vikas Grameena Bank was formed by the amalgamation of four banks sponsored by Syndicate Bank in the State of Karnataka by a Government of India Notification dated 12/09/2005.  The bank works with a mission to continue as the leading and visible Grameena Bank in the country by acting as a catalyst for the growth of Agriculture/ Allied and Non-Farm activities.

Bank has fulfilled the aspirations of the rural people with its total involvement. To continue as the leading and visible Grameena Bank, acting as a catalyst for the growth of Agriculture/Allied and Non-Farm Activities, encouraging customers to pursue gainful vocation to maximize returns for a decent living, to liberate vulnerable sections from the clutches of money lenders and finally build a vibrant and pro-active Financial Institution is the mission of Karnataka Vikas Grameena Bank. The bank offers agricultural loans, home loan, educational loan, jewel loan etc.

 

 

Purpose –           The loan is offered for the purpose of Production & Consumption

Special Features        – Service charges and Ledger Folio charges  as per CC A/c , Interest   11 to 13% For   Agrists, interest is to be debited half yearly

Eligibility –           All Customers are eligible for the loan

Quantum –           Maximum Rs.550/- Per gram or 60% of Market value whichever is lower
