A recent press report said that Vijaya Bank had organized a mega Home Loan Mela – “Vijaya Bank Home Utsav 2011”, at Koramangala Indoor Stadium, Bangalore.
Bank’s Chairman and Managing is addressing the gathering after inaugurating the mela. Also seen are Shri Veera Brahmoji Rao, General Manager, Bangalore North and Shri Hardeesh Kumar, General Manager, Bangalore South regions.
The Chairman and Managing Director, Shri H. S. Upendra Kamath, said that there were total 27 stalls at the venue and that arrangements were made by the bank for in-principle spot sanction of Home Loans in the Bank’s mega stall.
He also mentioned that despite increase in the base rate, the same has not been passed on to the housing loan borrowers and interest has been pegged at 10.75% p.a. He had announced 50% concession in processing charges for spot sanctions during the event.
Reports said that the event had featured around 25 leading builders and developers of the city, prominent among who were Adarsh Developers, Salarpuria Sattva, RMZ Corp, Gopalan Enterprises, Purvankara Group and Provident Housing.
