Bank of Maharastra inaugurates Maha Retail Credit Hub

Bank of Maharashtra is a Public Sector Bank established in 1936 and nationalised in 1969. It has 1421 branches all over India and holds the distinction of having the largest network of branches by any Public sector bank in the state of Maharashtra.

BoM inaugurated its ‘Maha Retail Credit Hub’ in Mumbai in order to speed up its retail loan disbursements. The scheme was inaugurated by BoM Chairman and Managing Director, Allen C A Pereira.

A statement released by the company says, ” ‘MARCH’, short for Maha retail Credit Hub, will accelerate appraisal, sanction and disbursal of retail loans, like housing, vehicle, education, personal and consumer, among others, thereby reducing response time drastically.”

The statement further informed that the bank is well set to exceed its overall business target of Rs 1,00,000-crore by end-this fiscal.
