Good news for anyone who’s ever had a problem when trying to vote. You can now get onto the electoral rolls by enrolling online. You heard right! And it doesn’t end there. If you’ve moved houses or states or countries even, it’s still possible to get your voter’s ID, update your details or change your constituency in just a few minutes.
Follow these steps to enrol online:
Step 1: Log onto the NVSP website here
Step 2: Click on ‘Apply For Online Registration For New Voter’ to access Form 6
Step 3: Fill in all your details on the form
Step 4: Click on the ‘Upload Your File’ tab on the top left side to upload your documents and click ‘Submit’
Step 5: After you click on submit, you will be asked to confirm your details
Step 6: You will receive a link in your email to track your application
Once you’re done with these steps, sit back and relax while you wait for your voter’s ID, which will arrive in the post. Keep in mind, your voter’s ID will be sent to you only once a physical verification of your address has been done.
