Union Bank of India has planned to open ATM at Shri Jagannath Temple, New Delhi

A recent pres report said that Union Bank of India has planned to open a new ATM at Shri Jagannath Temple, Thyagaraj Nagar ( Near Safdarjung Bus Stand), New Delhi on 26th August 2011.
Reports said that the ATM will be inaugurated by Shri S. C. Kalia, Executive Director, Union Bank of India and Shri D. S. Tripathi, General Manager. Union Bank has about 2700 ATMs across the country and the bank has planned to reach up to 5000 ATMs by March 2012.

Reports also said that this has been made possible due to the effort of Mr. Hrushikesh Behera an Odia the General Manager of Union Bank of India. He recently was promoted by Union Bank of India as the General Manager of the bank.

Reports added saying that the opening of this banking facility at the temple premises will facilitate visitors, devotees and the local community.

The bank has recently hiked its interest rates making loan dearer for both new and existing auto loan, home loan and corporate loan borrowers.
