I have an account in SBI Sai Nagar branch of Anantapur. I have my salary account in the same branch.

I have been begging them to issue a credit card. It has been four months. I have been pleading regularly. But to no avail.

I have written to the banking ombudsman and waiting for their response.

      Hi Ahmad,

Even though you have an account with a particular bank, it’s not binding upon the bank to issue a Credit Card to you unless you meet certain criteria laid down the bank. Please get in touch with the bank to understand what all they would need from you to be able to issue a Credit Card to you – this could range from improving your Credit Score to reducing your loan debt. Hope this helps.

      Cheers,
      Team BankBazaar
